The East Brunswick Jewish Center, 511 Ryders Lane, will host a program titled “Preventing Bullying and Child Abduction in Real Life” 1-3 p.m. April 17.
Guest presenter will be speaker and author Ron Shuali, M.Ed. Parents and children are invited to attend.
Shuali will offer information for parents on how to recognize signs of bullying that they may have missed; how public schools are unknowingly escalating bullycides and school shootings; how to empower their child so that he or she is never a victim; understanding why bullying can’t stop without their help; and how to create a day of celebration for their child that will empower the child in the growing years.
Children will learn how to stop being a bully; two techniques to walk away powerfully from a mental bully; how to effectively stop a child abduction of themselves or a friend if no adult is present; and how to defend themselves against a physical bully so that the bullying stops.
Admission is free of charge.
Interested individuals should RSVP Ron Shuali at 732-777-1328 or Ron@shualife.com.
