The Friends of Princeton Nursery Lands will hold its annual cleanup session from noon to 3 p.m. on Jan. 16 at the Mapleton Preserve / D&R Canal State Park headquarters, 145 Mapleton Rd., Kingston section of South Brunswick, in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

Volunteers will be clearing small trees, brush, vines and trash in the Mapleton Preserve. Bring tools such as saws, clippers, loppers and rakes. Work gloves, sturdy shoes, warm clothing and hats are a must.
