Hindus to celebrate Navratri Garba on three nights

The Indo-American Cultural Foundation of Central Jersey (IACFNJ) will hold its Grand Navratri Garba celebration from 8:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. on Sept. 23, 29 and 30 at South Brunswick High School, 750 Ridge Road, Monmouth Junction section of South Brunswick.

The Hindu celebration marks the festival of nine nights during which Hindus worship Goddess of Shakti Durga, Lakshmi and Saraswati.

Mahesh Mehta and his artists from Bollywood and local singers and musicians of Entertainment Unlimited will rock the stage with live singing of traditional garbas, dandiya, famous sanedo and bhangaras with live entertainment.

The cafeteria will have food stalls as well as local vendors with clothing, jewelry and traditional items booths.
