Israeli artwork to be on display at Temple B’Nai Shalom

Temple B’nai Shalom, in conjunction with Jerusalem-based Safrai Fine Art Gallery, will present an exhibition and sale of “Young and Old Masters of Israeli Art” Nov. 2-5.

The exhibition will include more than 1,000 works of art – including original oil paintings, watercolors, lithographs and etchings – by more than 100 Israeli artists – including Marc Chagall, Shraga Weil, Amram Ebgi, Shemuel Katz, Moshe Castel, Reuven Rubin and Raphael Abecassis.

The hours are 7-9 p.m. Nov. 2, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 3, 7-10 p.m. Nov. 4 including wine and cheese, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 5 at Temple B’Nai Shalom, 15 Fern Road, East Brunswick.

Admission is free for the exhibition. The wine and cheese event, which includes a glatt kosher dessert reception, is $18. RSVP is requested.

The East Brunswick Jewish Center and The Jewish Federation in the Heart of New Jersey are co-sponsors of the event.
